Cassis, the small port of Provence such as it is imagined, enclosed high hills between the Canaille Cape and the pine forests of Bestouan, rests, quiet, with the hollow of a small valley. Maze of lanes of the small city, coloured and animated terraces quay, landscapes of forests and peaks arid, the feet in water, Cassis is one of the most beautiful stopovers of the coast, to accost by the sea or while coming from the interior... Overhanging the port, the medieval castle was built by a Lord of the Baux in XIIIe century on a rock headland.
