Welcome in AUBAGNE
Aubagne occupies the center of a green basin and is surrounded of mountainous solid masses like the Garlaban or the Sainte-Baume. Marcel Pagnol was born there in 1895 and found the inspiration of his marvellous accounts in this corner of Provence. Aubagne knew to keep its authenticity all while developing. It is the capital of clay and santons. Already during Antiquity, Aubagne exploited its ground and manufactured fine amphoras and ceramics. Today, many craftsmen ceramists, faience manufacturers, potters and santonniers are installed there. Biennial "the Argilla" and "santonnier art" constitute two major demonstrations...

Saint-Pons Park. 328 species are present on this site, constituting a mosaic of narrowly overlapping plants the ones with the others. This vegetable diversity constitutes a privileged biotope unique in France.
